The Civic is pleased to present the winners of the 2017-18 Florence Frager Young Artist Competition on Sunday, April 22 at 3 PM. Violist Molly Prow will play Romance for Viola and Orchestra by Max Bruch, and violinist Theo Bockhorst will play the final movement of Edouard Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole. Volunteer opportunities with St. Louis Civic Orchestra The orchestra is looking for volunteers to help with ushering for concerts as well as serving refreshments at intermission, both of which can’t be easily done by orchestra members. The St. Louis Civic Orchestra is pleased to present the 2015-2016 Florence Frager Young Artist Competition! The competition, which started in the mid-70s and was named after a member’s mother in 1993, has allowed the Civic to support young talent in the community and showcase them with a full symphonic orchestra for over 40 years.
