How to Join the St. Louis Civic Orchestra
The St. Louis Civic Orchestra is composed of musicians in the St. Louis metro area. The main auditions for the SLCO are held each fall, but we also hold auditions throughout the year as needed. If you are new to the area or have lived here for a while and now want to play with a community orchestra regularly or as a substitute, please contact Jeanne Lambson for information about joining our group. Auditions for the 2021-22 season will take place on Tuesday, August 24th, 6:30 PM at St Paul’s Evangelical Church, located at 9801 Olive Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63141. Social distancing will be observed and masks will be worn among a small music committee observing the auditions.
We are especially looking for musicians in the following areas:
- Strings (all sections – Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass)

The Orchestra is planning to resume rehearsals and live performances and is currently finalizing the plans for the season. If you have any questions please contact the Orchestra Administrator, Jeanne Lambson.

Dues and Donations
Members are required to pay dues annually in the amount of $60. Donations are also welcome. You may pay by Paypal, by check at rehearsal, or mail to the address below.
