Have you ever thought about how COVID-19 affects a community symphony orchestra? In order to safely socially distance the audience and player alike, the St. Louis Civic Orchestra invites you to listen to its first-ever Bits n’ Pieces Chamber Music Series. For the past few months, we’ve been hard at work preparing, rehearsing, and recording small performances in smaller numbers.

Our mission is to enrich lives through the performance and preservation of orchestral works and to further the performing arts in the Greater St. Louis region through performance and music education opportunities for adults and youth in our community. We hope that if you like what you hear, you’ll consider supporting the orchestra by donating HERE:

Our first piece, the first movement (Allegro ma non troppo)  of Schubert’s “Rosamunde” String Quartet No. 13 in A minor, was performed at the Paul Schroeder Park in Manchester on Saturday, 10/17, by Principal members of the St. Louis Civic Orchestra.

Featuring:

Carolina Neves – Violin

Anne Branch – Violin

Maggie Mueller.- Viola

Cole Guillien – Cello
