Volunteer opportunities with St. Louis Civic Orchestra
The orchestra is looking for volunteers to help with ushering for
concerts as well as serving refreshments at intermission, both of which can’t be easily done by orchestra members.
Here’s what’s involved:
- arrive no later than an hour before the concert begins
- usher (doors open 30 minutes before the concert begins, take tickets and hand out programs)
- serve refreshments at intermission (beverages served for a small fee)
- clear up refreshments at end of intermission
Concert dates & times for the 2018-19 season
October 27 at 7 pm
December 2 at 3 pm
February 23 at 7 pm
April 14 at 3 pm
All concerts take place at the William D. Purser, DC Center at Logan
University.
Volunteers have free admission to the concert and high school age
volunteers who require an adult to bring them receive a complimentary ticket for that person.
