The St. Louis Civic Orchestra is pleased to present the 2015-2016 Florence Frager Young Artist Competition!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The competition, which started in the mid-70s and was named after a member\u2019s mother in 1993, has allowed the Civic to support young talent in the community and showcase them with a full symphonic orchestra for over 40 years.<\/p>\n

In addition to an honorarium, the winner(s) perform with the orchestra at our spring  scholarship concert, which this year will be on April 17, 2016<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each year, our judges face a difficult decision after hearing so many local, talented musicians. If you know of any budding young artists, please pass the information about our competition along!<\/p>\n
